Mental Health Educational Services
At Granite State Child & Family Counseling, PLLC we provide seminars, individual, and group mental health educational services to parents, teachers, paraprofessionals, adolescents, and other community members.
Some of our training sessions with area schools and parents include:
Self-Esteem Strategies to Help your Pre-teen or Teen:
Many of our kids are struggling with their self-image and self-esteem. In this workshop you will learn what self-esteem is, how to model self-esteem for your kids, how to identify low self-esteem or self-dislike, and how to foster developmental assets to build self-esteem in your kids.
The Pressure to Succeed:
Today's teen faces many of the same challenges as generations before them. However, today's teen is also faced with more pressure and external influence than in previous generations. In this workshop you will learn how to define success for yourself and your teen, when is it too much, signs and symptoms of stress overload, results of prolonged stress/stress overload, how resiliency and protective factors play a role, how to help your kids cope, and when to seek outside help.
Please contact us today at (603) 672-1881 to discuss your needs and how we can help provide high quality mental health educational services to you, your agency, your school, or your community.
